Telecom Test System

Part 68 Test System

Telecom Test System is designed to execute testing according to technical requirements for connection of terminal equipment to the telephone network. This system has specific circuitry needed for testing on analog modems and analog telephones. These tests are intended to protect the telephone network from damage or interference caused by the connection of terminal equipment.

Surge Generator | Model SGTEL-168
Surge Generator is designed for applying high voltage surges to equipment linked to the telephone network. The ability of equipment to withstand voltage surges can have a tremendous impact on field reliability. The SGTEL-168 Surge Generator is capable of performing telephone line surge type A and type B per TIA-968 and Industry Canada CS03 requirement.

Longitudinal Signal Power and Balance | Model LB-168
Longitudinal Signal Power and Balance system is capable of analyzing power and balance of telephone interface devices.  Measurement is required to cover the great distance telephone lines expand. Balance measurements are essential because telephone networks use complex multiplexing schemes to communicate.

Impedance Test Set | Model IS-268
Impedance Test Set is designed to analyze AC and DC impedance of a telephone interface device. These impedances during ringing tests are designed to protect the telephone network from extreme current flow while on-hook.

Ringer Set | Model RS-368
Ringer Set supplies the ringer voltage for the on-hook impedance and billing protection testing.

Loop Simulator Test Set| LS-468
Loop Simulator Test Set is a two-wire loop simulator designed to simulate the full range of voltage, current and AC impedance parameters encountered when linked to the telephone network.

Digital Service Longitudinal Balance | Model DB-568
Digital Service Longitudinal Balance system evaluates longitudinal balance of terminal telephone equipment that use digital service.

Loop Simulator for 26 AWG | Model LS-668
Loop Simulator 26 AWG cable was created to meet the requirement for testing analog telephones, under the "Receive Objective Loudness Rating" (ROLR).
